Terms and Conditions For Online Courses

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings for the children’s online writing course Succeed With Sentence Structure provided by Succeed Education (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By enrolling a child in the Course, the parent or legal guardian agrees to these Terms and Conditions.


1. Eligibility and Parental Responsibility

  • The Course is designed for children aged 6-16 depending on their stage of learning
  • All enrolments must be completed by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their child during online sessions and ensuring a safe and suitable learning environment.

2. Course Format

  • The Course is delivered online via PowerPoint presentations, videos and Word documents on an online platform.
  • This is a self-paced course with lifetime access.
  • We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the Course content or delivery where necessary.

3. Learning Disclaimer

  • The Course is designed to encourage creativity, confidence, and enjoyment of writing.
  • Results are not guaranteed. Each child learns differently, and progress will vary depending on individual ability, effort, participation, and practice.
  • No specific academic results or outcomes are promised.

4. Booking and Payment

  • Course fees must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include applicable UK taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • A place on the Course is only confirmed once payment has been received.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking and receive a full refund, provided the Course has not been accessed.
  • If the Course begins within the 14-day cancellation period, you acknowledge that your right to cancel will end once the Course has been accessed.
  • Once the Course has been accessed, refunds are not available, except where required by law.
  • To cancel, written notice must be provided via email to janeoakden@succeededucation.co.uk
  • If we cancel the Course for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future course.

6. Missed Sessions

  • Missed sessions cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
  • We are not responsible for missed sessions due to illness, holidays, technical issues, or other personal circumstances.

7. Technical Requirements

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring reliable internet access, a suitable device, and any required software.
  • We are not liable for disruption caused by technical issues outside of our control.

8. Behaviour and Online Conduct

  • Children are expected to behave respectfully during online sessions.
  • We reserve the right to mute, remove, or exclude a child from a session if behaviour is disruptive or inappropriate.
  • No refund will be issued in such circumstances.

9. Recordings and Content

  • Online sessions may be recorded for safeguarding, training, or educational purposes.
  • Recordings will not be shared publicly and will be handled in accordance with UK data protection laws.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All Course materials, including videos, worksheets, and written content, remain our intellectual property.
  • Materials may not be copied, shared, recorded, or distributed without prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
  • Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from participation in the Course.

12. Data Protection

  • Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and use personal data.

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
