With this in mind, I created the ‘SUCCEED’ Straight to Success Methodology. When you trust me with your child’s learning, I want you to see real results. The Straight to Success approach is a tried-and-tested method which really works.
Why does the Straight to Success Method work?

It reduces overwhelm – we work best when webreak a task into smaller steps

It is measurable so we can celebrate small wins and progress is easy to see

Children can work through the steps at their own pace

Feedback can be specific and targeted which then enables further progress

SUCCEED: A ‘Straight to Success’ Writing Methodology
S — Set the scene
~ Understand what the sentence, paragraph or piece of writing will achieve.
U — Use correct punctuation
~ Ensure all punctuation (basic and advanced) is used correctly.
C — Construct the sentences using suitable sentence types
~ Use a range of sentence types to add interest and variety.
C — Chain to success- link together each part of each sentence
~ Make sure that every sentence is constructed from strong links
E — Evaluate the grammar
~ Check that the sentence is grammatically correct and that suitable and interesting vocabulary is used.
E — Edit and improve
~ Allow time to read through and edit the writing, making improvements wherever necessary.
D — Deliver the writing to the intended audience
