Hi everyone, my name is Jane Oakden. I have been teaching for twenty-five years and I absolutely love helping others to succeed.
My teaching career so far has been incredibly rewarding and varied. My career in schools involved a wide range of roles and responsibilities: assistant headteacher; class teacher across a range of year groups; Initial Teacher Training lead; Graduate Teacher Programme leader; English subject lead; team leader and mentor; and recruitment and retention manager. I have presented many CPD courses to other teachers, teaching assistants and trainees.
In 2017, I opened my private tutoring business- Succeed Education. I loved establishing my business in the local community which means so much to me. As my business name suggests, my passion lies in helping others to ‘Succeed.’
To ensure that my students make outstanding progress, I developed the ‘SUCCEED- Straight to Success’ teaching methodology. This is a back-to-basics approach to teaching and learning which focuses on the key skills required. By using the ‘Straight to Success’ method, I create a clear, step-by-step path to success which works!
